Type 4: Friday class take about further interactions

Kate and I have a very wide range of people who are going to be attending out Type in The Round conference. There for we need to find a way for all of them to live in the space and get the most out of this experience. So Kate and I through around ways to sort them whether or not it is trying to color code them and have every group being represented my a different color. However, why just stick with the people who already think like you, when you can learn something from others. We really would like to force interaction amongst groups who would not ordinarily have noticed or dont think they have areas in common. We would have talks that where based around graphic design and sculpture. This may help for each attendee to get a richer conference experience. We have also begun to consider ways to have some activities that are more than just learning. We would maybe try to have a design challenge where one person from all the different areas of interest and see all the different typographic solutions that would come from the groups. Critiques are also very important for our conference. Artist need to be talked to from all different areas of profusions to help them speak to the widest groups possible.
