Type final poster and flyer

These are my first round of flyer ideas.

Here is my final poster design and flyer layout. I have come along way from the jumbled mess i called a poster before. I feel that my flyer and poster are cohesive with the element of the bars and stripes. Also with the similar treatment with her name on a slant and with the black bar in the middle of it.
