vis Lang: communication model

this is my interoperation of all of the communication models mixed together. There is a sender who can be an artist or designer or whom ever has the idea. Then you have the receiver, who could be the client, pedestrian, viewer, or audience. The sender sends a message or idea through a channel to the receiver however the message can become clouded by noise, whether it is from the receiver or sender or an outside source. Then the feedback can circulate from the sender to receiver.

now i need 3 concepts.....

my first concept is going to be through the game of pictionary. You have an artist/team mate =sender. Then you have the guesser/ other team mate = receiver. The channel would be the paper or dry erase-board you are drawing on. The feed back would be the guesses from the receiver and the feedback from the sender would be the additions to the drawing they make to clarify it to the receiver. The noise can be many things such as influences from the other team, personal references, inside jokes, age differences, marker used, drawing ability. And the message is the word you are trying to represent.

second concept would be sending a birthday present. The granddaughter = sender, sends her grandmother = receiver, a martini glass. She sends it through the mail on a plane = channel, and it breaks which is the noise cause now the grandmother doesn't know that it is so she sends the grand daughter a thank you note saying thank you for the glass ball. The daughter then calls the grand mother and tells her it is a martini glass that is the feed back.

third idea is to create a game for design students to play to learn about the communication model. I would be designing the box instructions, board and playing cards. The players would be trying to communicate different messages to the other players and points would be given out for correct answers as feedback. These are some ideas i had in terms of board ideas.
