Vis Lang: Summarization of the lecture

In the lecture we talked about The hierarchy of design problems as addressed in Christopher Jones's article. The thing that i took away most from this lecture is how much graphic design has changed over the years and how much more complex of a roll we have today. When before designers where just putting the wrappings on a completed product. We are now responsible for so much more such as how the community perceives the product. Also all the other elements that can be associated with the product. As well as the packaging and the branding and the distributing. We as modern graphic designers also are always trying to give a dialectic conversation or reaction with the viewer that they can respond to and pull new insight and meaning from.
