Vis Lang: Project 2 ideas

OK.....to start off i needed to answer a few questions regarding my original poster pic....
1. Who is my client.... AIGA and the 9 studio owners
2. What is the goal of the poster.....to promote/ invite views to the 9 new graphic design studios opening in san francisco
3. Context....this will be viewed all around town by artist and non artist alike to get future clients and awareness to the community of there successes and opening
4. new modes needed to be utilized are ethos- which is the credibility convincing by character of author, project impression to the reader (tone and style of the message)
and
logos-(logical) persuading by reasoning, backing up your claims, other successful work as backing up evidence.

so after some brainstorming and mind mapping i decided that due to the contents of my poster leads itself to some unique avenues to use these different modes of appeal

logos i am wanting to make an interact folded invitation to the studio openings that may have some history or past work to back up why these studios are going to be bangin

ethos i am going to make sure that the aiga aspect on this poster is larger giving the piece creditability in the art world. i also would like to use parts and pieces of aiga work or work of

the designers.

These are some of my brain storming ideas and image gathering...
im thinking that if i have a designer holding a poster it gives it creditability because this is the new trend for photographing your work for your porfolio

this is an idea for plotting the new studios on the map of san fran for logical info about the design studios

this could lend for an interesting idea with the theme or tag line being the seam and sewing 9 different things

she could have 9 balloons

i would love this idea for having 9 flowers cut out of old aiga work or the designers opening the studios then with sewing the button in the middle ties in the them of the seam

these are just cool invitations and ideas for multi parts

i like the puzzle idea with 9 different parts/ pieces

this is the same holding the artwork idea

i like the feel of the type integration in this piece

this is a way i could incorporate information into my invitation/ pamphlet.
