IA 387: working on collection website

These are some of the directions I have been developing for my collection website. I am really trying to work on adding a background to hold my 550x950 flash field.

These are some other images I found that i want to try to use as other ideas for backgrounds!!!

IA 387: initial compositions for shoe website

For my shoe collection website I have taken so very dramatic photos of all of my shoes and want to showcase them in my final flash web site.

These are some of the sites I wanted to draw from for insperation

These are some of the pages I have started to design using my photos and graphs. I wanted to maintain a very minimal clean and sophisticated design. I want it to be based on bold photography and beautiful typography.

this is and idea I am working with to display the wide variety of photos I have taken.

This is a home page idea where the images are huge and scrolling right and left.

Here is a macro of one shoe and story. This would fall under the about us section. I have a huge dramatic image and a story for each shoe.

This is an option I have developed to work on sorting of my shoes.

iA 387: collection iterations

When it can time to representing my shoes in different mediums I wanted to try something out of the box for me, something I am not always the most confident with...illustration.

If this is the route I wanting to go in I would want to include more detail in each illustration. This detail would help to tell the different shoes apart. I could also emphasize the different flaws and textures of the shoes.

With this concept I wanted my shoes to mimic paper dolls and the fact that these shoes are interchangeable. This could be nice when I am sharing the story associated with each shoe.

These are very simple vector outline shapes of my shoes....The problem with this approach is that it will be hard to distinguish the difference between the shoes that have the exact same form just different colors.

Here I was trying to use very nice photography to highlight the different distinguishing factors of the shoe. Whether it is the texture, shape, color, or flaws. I would really like to explore this route simple because I have just purchased my new camera and would love to get the change to explore its capabilities further and build my photography skills.

These are just some ROUGH initial ideas for navigating through my collection website...These are by no means designed aesthetically just functionally.
